The Cost of Living on the Road
Ever wonder how much it costs to live the full-time road life? There are many factors to consider when saving, planning, making day-to-day choices, and finding work on the road. Over the past decade of wandering the continent in their tiny vintage travel trailer named Hamlet, they have figured out how to thrive on a 1/4 of what used to drive their traditional, professional lives. Raised Hunting with David & Karin Holder
Raised Hunting (Saturdays 11:30a on the Outdoor Channel) is about an average American family that has used hunting as a platform to teach ethics and values to their family. The Holders share their North American hunting experience and use real adventures from their journeys.
Raised Hunting captures the raw emotion that comes from an animal at close range, all while focusing on bringing you ultimate adventures with the highest regard to cinematography. Raised Hunting is the show that keeps you on the edge of your seat and looking for more when it’s over.
Most important, the Holders hope you will see them for who they really are, just another family that lives and loves everything hunting has to offer, and the kind of family you would hope to run into at your next hunting camp. After all, they are looking forward to sharing camp with you. Thank you for being a part of Raised Hunting!

Pheasants Forever Youth Village
Pheasants Forever is educating and getting youth involved in the Great Outdoors at the Duluth Sport Show by bringing in their Pheasants Forever Youth Village!
The Youth Village is a free activity and will consist of a Safe Archery unit and an Indoor Sling Shot as well as a BB Gun Range where you can try your luck and also pick up additional information on Firearms Safety.
This is a great way to introduce youth to hunting and conservation, develop conservation-minded citizens and leaders, foster a love for shooting sports and safe handling of firearms while getting kids outdoors learning firsthand about our natural resources.
Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs. They also provide opportunities for youth and their families to share their outdoor traditions.
Live Trout Pond
It’s Fun, it’s Exciting, it’s Challenging!
The Trout Tank fishing experience has become a family tradition with many fishermen and families over the last 50+ years!
We constantly have people telling us that their kids are experiencing the same excitement that they used to have at the annual Duluth Sport Show!
Drop a line, reel in some fun and create some memories!

Boating Skills Virtual Trainer
Presented by America’s Boating Club, Duluth Squadron
Test your mettle with the Boating Skills Virtual Trainer (BSVT), which is the industry’s premier interactive simulation-based boating safety program and powerful instructor tool.
The Boating Skills VT is a USPS training unit funded by grants from the U.S. Coast Guard with advanced water physics developed by Virtual Driver Interactive (VDI).
The BSVT allows students to maneuver a “Boston Whaler” on a lake of 3.5 miles x 4 miles in a virtual mode where there are no other boats, no water and no risks. The helm seat sits next to a regular conference table. Exercises are built in to allow an instructor to direct maneuvers from basic to advanced by adjusting wind and current direction and strength.
